SOS Médecins specialists

SOS Médecins is a family-run business that has been operating in the healthcare sector since 1986. Over the years, we have expanded our network of emergency doctors and home doctors to meet all your medical needs, however urgent.

A team of specialist doctors and dispatch doctors

Our team brings together emergency specialists and dispatch doctors across several specialities: general practitioners, diabetologists, paediatricians, dentists and intensive care doctors. All of them work in a spirit of solidarity, towards patients and colleagues alike.

They bring their experience, skills and humanity to SOS Médecins, in your city and across the country, to ensure that you are listened to, supported and cared for every time they are called out.

Emergency general practitioner

The SOS Médecins team is made up of around a hundred active general practitioners and a varying number of locum doctors, who are skilled in both emergency medicine and general medicine. When your call is received, the dispatch doctor sends you the emergency GP closest to you.

Emergency paediatrician

Children often fall ill at night or at the weekend, when you least expect it, and parents do not always know what to do. That is why it is important to have to hand the number of an emergency paediatrician who can make home visits on a Sunday or in the evening.

Paediatricians who work in a clinic or hospital generally cannot visit patients at home. The SOS Médecins emergency paediatrician, however, comes to your home with everything needed to treat your child, including in the most urgent cases.

Emergency diabetologist

Diabetes, which affects more than 2 million Moroccans, can be kept under control with appropriate care from a diabetologist. It is a disorder in which the body is unable to regulate blood sugar levels; if poorly treated, it can lead to serious complications.

The patient’s regular doctor refers them to a diabetologist once the diagnosis is confirmed. The diabetologist finds the right treatment, working with the GP and, if necessary, a dietitian, since diet plays an essential role. In the event of complications, the SOS Médecins emergency diabetologist can come to you, wherever you are.

Emergency dentist

Home dental care is intended for people who cannot get to a surgery: elderly people, people with disabilities or with psychological disorders. It also suits very busy people and emergencies that occur at night, at the weekend or after 8 p.m.

The care provided by the SOS Médecins emergency dentist follows the same steps as at the surgery; the only difference is that the dentist comes to the patient.

Emergency cardiologist

A cardiologist treats cardiovascular diseases: heart failure, myocardial infarction, heart rhythm disorders or high blood pressure. During the consultation, the cardiologist talks with the patient, examines them and carries out the necessary tests, and may then request further investigations such as a coronary CT scan or an echocardiogram.

If your regular doctor is not available, or if a loved one needs a cardiologist to come to their home immediately, SOS Médecins can send one to you, wherever you are.
